We are Richard and Karen Kemp - specialist wedding caterers based in Staffordshire. A husband and wife team, we serve delicious, hand-made wedding buffets and breakfasts for wedding receptions across the West Midlands and Birmingham. We offer highly-individual wedding catering across Warwickshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire, Worcestershire, Cheshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

As a winning combination of BBC Masterchef Contestant and Event Manager, we run Kemp and Kemp catering ourselves. Alongside our great support team, you'll find us inspired by ingredients, and passionate about catering for your special day.  

Menus & Influences.

Karen is the inspiration behind all the food and is totally passionate about food and her   catering. We cook everything ourselves. We never use microwaves. (Karen has   never owned one.) You may have seen Karen on TV in the regional heats of BBC's Masterchef, she was only eliminated by the eventual winner.

Karen is inspired by cooks like Nigel Slater, Ruth Rogers, the late Rose Gray (River Cafe), early Jamie - all underpinned by Delia. Uniquely, she is able to replicate the intimacy of these cooks in her wedding menus. Her latest 'hot fave' cook is Ottolenghi.

"My approach to food is no-nonsense: we live to eat, not the other way around... that's why most of this website is about food not waffle," she explains.

So, for perfectly cooked, home-made, delicious wedding catering - prepared by people who adore food, planned by professionals and served by great staff.
